Live Action Game of Clue and Scavenger Hunt of Washington D.C.- Saturday, Nov. 12, 11:30am-3:30pm
Time to solve a murder mystery while taking part in an incredible game and Scavenger Hunt as we bring the game of CLUE® – without a board – to DC.  Throughout the afternoon, as you compete in tasks and retrieve items and information, more cues will be revealed pointing to the murderer, the weapon and the location.   The winner will be the one who earns enough  points through various challenges (Clue themed) and collecting enough items that can used to help deciper the basics of the crime. Meet outside the Visitor Center at the Washington Monument 2 15th St NW. FotoWeekDC – Nov. 12-20, Time Varies
Celebrating fine art photography, photojournalism, world-class artists and up-and-coming shutterbugs, FotoWeek DC returns to inspire all through powerful imagery. Marvel at scores of gallery openings and photo-related events throughout the city, or submit your photos for competition. Ambassador Richard Boucher– Monday, Nov. 14, 7-9pm
Join International Student House for a special program featuring Ambassador Boucher. Boucher is former Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs. In 2005, he became the longest-serving Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs in the Department of State’s history, having served under Secretary Albright, Secretary Powell, and Secretary Rice.  Ambassador Boucher’s early career focused on economic affairs, China and Europe. From October 1993 to June 1996 he served as U.S. Ambassador to Cyprus and from 1996 to 1999 he headed the U.S. Consulate General in Hong Kong as the Consul General. Seasons Greenings at the United States Botanic Garden – Nov. 24 – Jan. 2, 2017, 10am- 5 pm
The annual holiday show includes a collection of DC landmarks made entirely from plant materials, including the U.S. Capitol Building, the Washington Monument and more. Seasons Greenings will also showcase a large indoor tree sporting ornaments from national parks. On select Tuesday and Thursday evenings in December, the Conservatory will stay open until 8 p.m. to hose live seasonal music.

There’s no need to wait for snow to lose yourself in a winter wonderland.
