George Washington University Election Analysis– Thursday, Nov. 10, 6-8 pm
Join GW’s Graduate School of Political Management for a lecture on the 2016 US Presidential Election.  Legislative Affairs Program Director, Dr. Steven Billet, will provide a post-presidential election analysis, and host a Q&A session. Dinner provided.

DC Assassinations Walking Tour– Friday, Nov. 11, 1pm
Guests will enjoy a guided 90 minute walking tour in the heart of DC, learning about presidential assassinations, attempted assassinations, and the officers who work behind the scenes protecting our president. Meet in front of the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery, 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Live Action Game of Clue and Scavenger Hunt of Washington D.C.- Saturday, Nov. 12, 11:30am-3:30pm
Time to solve a murder mystery while taking part in an incredible game and Scavenger Hunt as we bring the game of CLUE® – without a board – to DC.  Throughout the afternoon, as you compete in tasks and retrieve items and information, more cues will be revealed pointing to the murderer, the weapon and the location.   The winner will be the one who earns enough  points through various challenges (Clue themed) and collecting enough items that can used to help deciper the basics of the crime. Meet outside the Visitor Center at the Washington Monument 2 15th St NW. FotoWeekDC – Nov. 12-20, Time Varies
Celebrating fine art photography, photojournalism, world-class artists and up-and-coming shutterbugs, FotoWeek DC returns to inspire all through powerful imagery. Marvel at scores of gallery openings and photo-related events throughout the city, or submit your photos for competition. An opening party will be held at the National Geographic Society on Nov. 11, with an open bar, live music, exhibition viewings and of course, photo booths. Schedule of Events

Ambassador Richard Boucher– Monday, Nov. 14, 7-9pm
Join International Student House for a special program featuring Ambassador Boucher. Boucher is former Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs. In 2005, he became the longest-serving Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs in the Department of State’s history, having served under Secretary Albright, Secretary Powell, and Secretary Rice.  Ambassador Boucher’s early career focused on economic affairs, China and Europe. From October 1993 to June 1996 he served as U.S. Ambassador to Cyprus and from 1996 to 1999 he headed the U.S. Consulate General in Hong Kong as the Consul General. Seasons Greenings at the United States Botanic Garden – Nov. 24 – Jan. 2, 2017, 10am- 5 pm
The annual holiday show includes a collection of DC landmarks made entirely from plant materials, including the U.S. Capitol Building, the Washington Monument and more. Seasons Greenings will also showcase a large indoor tree sporting ornaments from national parks. On select Tuesday and Thursday evenings in December, the Conservatory will stay open until 8 p.m. to hose live seasonal music.

ZooLights – Nov. 25 – Jan. 1, 2017, 5-9pm
There’s no need to wait for snow to lose yourself in a winter wonderland. Head to ZooLights at the National Zoo for a wildly vibrant display of Christmas lights (a half-million of them!), along with activities like Zoo Tubing and special themed nights like BrewLights (Dec. 1), Military Night (Dec. 2) and Date Night (Dec. 8). The kids will love the National Zoo Choo-Choo (a train ride through the Great Cats exhibit), while the big kids enjoy spiked hot chocolate and live music. Free Admission. Scavenger Hunt of the Smithsonians (including New Museums)– Saturday, Nov. 26, 11:30am-3:30pm
Time to hunt for the Moon Rock, the Ruby Slippers, Dinosaurs, and the Hope Diamond all in one day? Join TTD at this incredibly popular event. Today’s scavenger hunt takes place throughout several Smithsonian museums on the National Mall. Look for items, answer trivia, get exciting pictures and win big prizes! Purchase tickets here. Third Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at CityCenterDC – Saturday, Nov. 26, 6pm
CityCenterDC will light its jaw-dropping 75-foot Christmas tree during a cheerful (and free) celebration two days after Thanksgiving. The ceremony will also feature a holiday concert, balloon artists, face painters, jugglers and holiday-themed activities. Attendees will also be wowed by CityCenter’s 25-foot reindeer and an all-new arrangement of lights along Palmer Alley. Location: 825 10th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001. Metro Center Mero stop.
