Kaypi Peru Festival  August 1-August 3
Join the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian July 29 – August 3, 2014 for the Kaypi Perú Festival, celebrating the indigenous cultures of Peru. Kaypi Perú, which means “This is Peru” in the Quechua language, is a week-long festival devoted to sharing and celebrating the richness and diversity of Peru through traditional dances and live music, photo exhibitions, films, lectures, Peruvian food and drinks, and hands-on activities for kids and families.

Maze at the Museum now until September 1
The Museum, in partnership with BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group, will create a never-before-seen large-scale maze for the Museum’s historic home. Soaring approximately 18 feet high and measuring 60 feet by 60 feet, the maple plywood structure will boast a series of twists and turns for visitors to weave through and explore.
$5 with student id.

Saturday Cycle with City Bikes and Results Gym every Saturday, 9:00 am
City Bikes and Results Gym are partnering to bring a fun, safe, NO DROP cycle experience to Capital Hill for all experience levels. Don’t sit this one out-hydrate, stretch, and gear up because it’s going down! We’ll ride in two groups, our ‘A’ group at a 15-20 mph pace and our ‘B’ group at around 10-15 mph.

Nike Run Club
Meets Tuesday/Thursdays at 6:30pm and Saturday’s at 8:00am at the Nike Georgetown Store. There is no need to sign up, you simply just show up and everything is completely free. We offer running advice from experts in the field, Nike trials shoes for runners to use during the runs, Nike+ GPS watches, and water/snacks for after the run. Mileage groups range from 3-6 miles as well as a walk/run group for those who are just starting out!
