RESULTS/RESULTS Educational Fund has an exciting and enriching opportunity for new staff, fellows, and interns visiting the DC area for the summer. Coinciding with the International AIDS Society conference, RESULTS will be hosting our annual International Conference to empower everyday people to end poverty July 21-24.
This is an opportunity for individuals of all ages, but we are especially excited to engage young people in learning issues of poverty and how they can be a powerful force in anti-poverty advocacy. The conference will focus on cultivating advocacy skills in organizing, building community awareness on issues of poverty, working with the media, and communicating effectively with policy-makers. These skills are helpful for working at any non-profit and for future careers in advocacy. You can find more information here!
Please forward this email to organizations you work with that have staff members that want to brush up their advocacy skills and to summer interns/students that would be interested in learning valuable advocacy skills while in Washington, DC.
