This is an announcement (read more) from the State Department containing program details for the U.S. Department of State’s Foreign Policy Classroom program on Thursday, May 31st, from 11:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. We are pleased to announce that the topic of discussion will be “U.S. Economic and Commercial Policy in Latin America.” The speaker for this program will be Natalie van der Horst, an economic and commercial officer in the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs.
If any students/interns are interested to register to attend this program, they will need to email foreignpolicyclassroom@state.gov and request to an excel document with the outlined security information. You must complete this document and send it back. This information is required by Department Security in order to admit visitors into the building. The required information is a first and last name, a date of birth, the school they are currently affiliated with, a student ID number, a driver’s license or passport number and the state or country of issuance. This information is due on Tuesday, May 29th, by 5:00p.m.
