2012 National Cherry Blossom Festival Dates: (March 20 – April 27) will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Cherry Blossom Festival with 5 weeks of spectacular events.

The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade combines wonderful entertainment for the whole family including decorated floats, gigantic colorful helium balloons, marching bands, clowns, horses, antique cars, military and celebrity performances.

The Japanese Street Festival in Washington, DC is a lively celebration of Japanese culture and part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

Blossom Kite FestivalMarch, 31. Kite flying competition, special demonstrations and kite making for children.
