Grab your loved one, a friend, or even a stranger for the area’s favorite Valentine’s Day 5K! Now in our third year, this sell-out event boasts a fun Valentine’s theme, great individual and team prizes, and a fabulous post-race party (Karaoke anyone?) you’ve come to expect from Pacers Events

Lincolns Birthday OPEN HOUSE: Fords Theatre– Sunday, February 12th  

Ford’s Theatre will celebrate Lincoln’s Birthday and the opening of the Center for Education and Leadership with a day of free programming and activities.

301 East Capital: Tales from the Heart of the Hill; A book signing and reading by author and lifelong Hill resident Mary Z. Gray.

To most of the world, “Capitol Hill” means the U.S. Congress. This book is about the personal side of the Hill, where for five generations a family of music makers and undertakers, homemakers and home breakers, shared a small neighborhood with the white-domed Capitol of the United States.

Voice of America (VOA) Tour: a dynamic multimedia broadcaster funded by the U.S. Government, broadcasts accurate, balanced, and comprehensive news and information to an international audience. The Voice of America Studio Tour is a behind-the-scenes look at live broadcasting in radio, television, and the Internet in several of our 43 languages. Admission is free and hours are 12pm to 3pm, Monday through Friday. St Patrick’s Day 8K- Sunday, March 11th
The St. Patrick’s Day race has been a tradition in Washington, DC since 1988. The race grew steadily in popularity over the years, and by 1998 had reached 3,761 registrants. Runners, who always wore their best green running attire, began to appear in costumes and funny hats.
