Arlington Police, Fire & Sherriff 9-11 Memorial 5K Race
(Saturday, September 8, 6pm)

Arlington National Cemetery 
(Moment of Silence & Flags across Arlington)
Open daily – April through September hours are 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. October through March hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. The best way to get to the cemetery is to take Metro to the Arlington National Cemetery Station

The DC Shorts Film Festival
Sept. 6-16, 2012. Film festival in Washington, DC featuring short films and discussions with filmmakers.

Adams Morgan Day
(September 9th 12pm- 7pm)
An annual neighborhood festival with live music and international food from around the world. Adams Morgan Day has something for everyone! Enjoy sidewalk cafes, colorful vendors, cultural demonstrations and dances.

Unity Walk
(September 9th 1pm-5pm)
Join people of all ages, backgrounds, and faiths in building respect for each other through a framework of education, compassionate leadership, and service. The 2012 Walk commemorates the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with the theme: From different paths, we walk as one.

Pentagon Memorial
The Pentagon Memorial commemorates the 184 lives lost in the Pentagon and on American Airlines Flight 77 during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The best way to visit the Memorial during the day is by Metro (Pentagon Metro Station).

H Street Festival
(September 15th 12pm-6pm)
The festival includes musical and dance performances, children’s activities, crafts, international foods and more.

Fiesta Musical at the National Zoo
(September 16th 11am-5pm)
Enjoy a celebration of Latin American culture and wildlife through a variety of family-oriented activities, live music and dance, special keeper talks, and a Latin American food court.
