Ever wondered what it’s like working on political campaigns?
Currently running the Washington Internship Program at SUNY in Washington DC, Robert Walter served on many political campaigns at all levels. Over the course of his career, Robert worked on a Mayor’s race, State Representative and State Senate campaigns, as well as with 4 Congressional Races. As a result, he worked in many positions from volunteer to field director, finance, and campaign manager. He will be at the WISH Classroom on Capitol Hill July 12 to discuss working on political campaigns. He will address how to get involved in campaigns, what it’s like to work on a campaign, and the different roles available with a campaign. Additionally, he has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Political Science from Ohio University.
