Fright Fest at Six Flags<\/h3>\n<p>One of the biggest halloween celebrations in the DC area takes place around the spooky attractions and shows at Six Flags. Nightmare on M Street<\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for a Halloween bar crawl, this is the event for you. On Halloween (Saturday October 31st) between 5 p.m. to 1 a.m you can dress up and take off on a bar crawl of 30 of Washington\u2019s hottest bars. This is a ticketed event and tickets are sold in advance, so make sure you get yours on time. Halloween Graveyard Jam<\/h3>\n<p>Not up for a cruise? How about a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hardrock.com\/eventdetails.aspx?locationid=102&amp;eventid=51352\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Halloween Graveyard Jam at the Hard Rock Caf\u00e9<\/a>? Kicking off at 9pm and running through to 2am, there\u2019s a costume contest (well it is Halloween after all) where the first prize is a trip to the Caribbean!!!<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll find the Hard Rock Caf\u00e9 at 999 E St., NW, Washington, DC.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>6. Halloween Parades<\/h3>\n<p>There\u2019s no shortage of Halloween parades in the Washington DC area. Blood and Guts Run<\/h3>\n<p>Start getting in the gruesome spirit from this Saturday (October 24<sup>th<\/sup>) with a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nvrpa.org\/events\/view\/2944\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Blood and Guts Run<\/a> (sounds fun right?).\u00a0Some of the events include\u00a0costume competitions (it wouldn&#8217;t be a Halloween event without one!), a DJ dance party and a 5k zombie obstacle course where the zombies will attempt to infect you with &#8220;blood&#8221; filled water guns.<\/p>\n<p>This takes place at the Bull Run Regional Park, Centreville, VA.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>8. DC Ghost Tours<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4235\" src=\"https:\/\/internsdc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/shutterstock_264457970-300x200-2.jpg\" alt=\"Ghost tour events in DC\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>DC has no shortage of Ghost Tours. One of the main tours is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcghosttours.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tour of Lafayette Square<\/a> where you&#8217;ll see the sites of the hauntings of the poltergeist of the Hay-Adams Hotel and Lincoln&#8217;s ghost in the White House. You can also take the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcghosttours.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Capitol Hill Ghost tour<\/a> to mingle with the spirits of past lawmakers, Lincoln conspiracy\u00a0trials and the disturbances at the Folger Library.
