The Pocket Resume \u2014 By Billy J. Clanton<\/h3>\n

Not to be “that guy” but I really don’t have the time to sit down and browse career websites, then tailor my resume for a gig that looks good.\u00a0 If I want to send out eight resumes a day, there\u2019s no way that slow but steady junk is going to pay off.<\/p>\n

That’s why the\u00a0Pocket Resume\u00a0is my go to app.<\/p>\n

This app allows me to craft a great looking resume right from my Smartphone. I don’t have to worry about the layout or design because the app handles it. So, in between my power lunches or while I’m on the train to my next 3 interviews, I can create a resume, store it and send it directly from my phone. That’s how you get \u2018er done.<\/p>\n

\u00a0iPQ Career Planner \u2014 By Ulysses S. Grand<\/h3>\n

\"UlyssesIf you’re someone like me who likes to leave nothing to chance (no really –\u00a0nothing) and analyzes the pros and cons of every possible move, then the iPQ Career Planner (iTunes 0.99) is for you.<\/p>\n

I used this app to identify my ideal job by completing a 52-question assessment (However, I think having 53 questions would have been really\u00a0prime\u2026).<\/p>\n

It helped outline my strengths (my adept assessment capabilities) and weaknesses (perhaps my stature), then gave me tips on how to address them. It also suggested matching jobs and careers.<\/p>\n

This app is utterly ideal for those that don’t let arbitrarily drawn constellations dictate what they do next and instead rely on the beauty of data.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Interview Prep Questions \u2014 By Woody Wilson<\/h3>\n

\"WoodySo my alarm went off right on time this morning:\u00a011:30 AM\u00a0(YOLO).\u00a0 But when I looked at my phone I totally flipped cause like, bros, I literally had an interview scheduled at\u00a0noon.\u00a0 That was like, a crazy bummer.<\/p>\n

But I didn\u2019t sweat it because, like, life is short, and anyway that stuff happens to me all the time.<\/p>\n

So I can customize my questions by building a “favorite deck,” and then move questions I already have the answers to into the “ignore list” (ex: \u2018when do Coachella tickets go on sale?\u2019)<\/p>\n
