Southwest Waterfront Fireworks Festival<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(April 6th<\/sup> 1-9PM)\u00a0<\/strong>
\nFireworks start at 8:30 PM

\nThe Southwest Waterfront community, home of the cherry blossoms, is the perfect place for you to enjoy more than eight celebratory hours of free music, and family friendly water-related activities, cultural experiences, live entertainment and delicious foods at multiple outdoor venues.<\/p>\n

Cherry Blossom Soccer Tournament<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0 (April 6- July 13th<\/sup>)
\nSaturday: 8 AM \u2013 5 PM & Sunday: 8 AM \u2013 2 PM
\nLocation: <\/strong>Polo Fields on the National Mall\/West Potomac Park \u2013 Ohio Drive & West Basin Drive, SW The tournament, first held in 2005 will feature 48 coed recreational teams competing over 2 days. Over 500 local participants will enjoy a soccer filled weekend on the West Potomac Polo grounds adjacent to the MLK memorial. Participants are also invited to attend a pre-tournament social event and post tournament tailgate at a DC United game. The event is free to spectators and there is an entry fee per team for participants. Registration details are available on the District Sports website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
