1. Not know when to stop talking<\/h3>\n

Talking over your interviewer is one of the biggest mistakes that you can make. Nerves can get the best of you, but nervous chatter comes across as rude. It may also suggest to your interviewer that you don\u2019t engage in active listening.<\/p>\n

Any hiring manager is going to see that as a problem. No one likes that person who\u2019s always trying to talk his or her way into the right answer. That\u2019s not the way to win them over. Pause after you answer a question.<\/strong> Wait for them to begin again.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t have to fill the silence with chatter. They won’t hear you after awhile.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
